Why a Cloud Strategy?
A Cloud Strategy is a documented plan describing how an organisation uses cloud technology to achieve its goals. It isn't about technology for technology's sake, but about how cloud contributes to the organisation's agility, security, cost control and capacity for innovation.
A good Cloud Strategy answers four questions: where are we now, where do we want to go, how do we get there, and how do we measure whether we're on track. The result is a clear picture of the target landscape (which platforms, which architecture principles, which migration routes) and a roadmap that's achievable within the reality of budget, capacity and risk tolerance.

We already have a vision for cloud. Does a Cloud Strategy still make sense?
Yes. A vision provides direction, but a strategy makes that direction executable. We regularly see organisations with a clear cloud vision who struggle to translate it into concrete choices about platforms, migration routes and governance. A strategy project builds on what's already there and fills the gaps, without reinventing the wheel.
How does a Cloud Strategy relate to an AI Strategy?
The two are directly connected. Cloud is the precondition for AI: without a solid, well-set-up cloud environment you can't deploy AI applications safely and at scale. We factor AI readiness into the Cloud Strategy by default. If you want to go further with an explicit AI Strategy, we're happy to offer that as a separate project.
Does the Cloud Strategy also deliver a business case?
We produce a cost calculation that gives insight into the expected investment and the financial impact of the chosen migration routes. That isn't a detailed TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) analysis down to the euro, but a substantiated estimate that's sufficient for internal decision-making and prioritisation. We can deliver a more detailed business case as an add-on if the organisation requests it.
